Conspiracy Theories


Not all people in our world are honest and tell you the truth about their intentions. People like to refer to conspiracy theorists to skeptics. It's not just about wondering and questioning. It's usually about just looking at different perspectives compared to the norms of society.
A conspiracy theory is a different explanation to a specific event, typically involving an illegal carried out by the government or some for of politics. The basis of conspiracy theories revolves around the belief of everything is connected. Conspiracy theories are studied by political scientists.

A long time ago people used to view conspiracy theories as a negative. People have been punished before for believing in, talking about, or spreading news about conspiracy theories. People have also be seen as if they have an "illness," because they believe in conspiracy theories. They would get called "crack pot" or "nut job."



Conspiracy Theories that turned out to be TRUE:

1. Operation Mockingbird: About CIA propaganda.

2. The Manhattan Project was a conspiracy theory before it became true. First Atomic bomb in World War II

3. The 1919 World Series Scandal (Chicago Black Sox): 8 players from the Chicago White Sox, including Shoeless Joe Jackson, were paid to the lose 1919 World Series. Those 8 players were banned from the MLB.
